Samsung extends warranty for it’s every consumer whose warranty on product is expiring between March 20 and May 31. The Warranty on all Samsung Products in India extended Till June 15 Owning to Coronavirus Lockdown.
The announcement was made on 2nd June on Samsung India website. “Keeping in mind the current situation, we have extended the standard warranty across our product portfolio till June 15, 2020. This will be valid for all products whose warranty expired in the period between March 20 and May 31, 2020,” the company post reads.
It means products like TV, smartphones, refrigerators, tablets and many other consumer products by Samsung are eligible for extended warranty offer. For more information on warranty status, customers can find relevant details on the company website.
To avail the extended warranty on your product you can contact through both online and offline methods depending on availability. However the Samsung service centers falling in containment zones are still not functional.
This is the second time Samsung extends warranty on it’s product amid to corona virus lockdown. First Samsung extended warranty in April till 31st May for the products expiring warranty between March 20 to April 30.
Samsung costumers can also purchase extra warranty on there products before the expiry of standard warranty period. It will grant you more peace of mind and saves your devices from failing to any mechanical or technical problems.
